Recycle/Trash Collection Q & A: - CurbSide Rep did not show up:

- Below is the Lake Martha Rates
- 38-Gal Trash: $18/month
- 65-Gal Trash: $19/month
- 96-Gal Trash: $22/month
- 96-Gal Recycle: $8.50/month
- Price is locked for one year. Increases for years 2 and 3 are capped at 8% depending on disposal costs and fuel
- Association members can call and reference the Lake Martha Association with the above rates

Actual Balance after uncleared checks is $9,554.01
Dues collections are up slightly from 2024
- 2025 – (38) Dues payers totaling - $3,750
- 2024 – (30) Donors - $3,000
Weed Treatment:
- 2025 – (35) Donors - $9,350
- 2024 – (27) Donors - $8,550
- We have not contacted off Lakers

Information about 2 Current Projects: (from Dan Nadeau- Wright Co. Soil & Water) addressing Farm Field Watershed Issues impacting our Lake - Patrick, Gary Anderson, Al Miller, Dave Tabbut
- #620 Farm Field South of Co Rd 44 (Anderson/Kohnen Project): No guest speaker Preliminary Cost Est, Preliminary Combined Plans
- Started 30 years ago
- Detergent like frothing build up in Anderson's yard
- Raise the intake pipe to help settle erosion settlements keep runoff cleaner, build 2 rock ponds with pipe connecting them from the culvert down to existing trees
- Look to start this project in July
- Received a grant for 75% of the $15,000 costs
- Asking for $$ to assist to makeup the difference
Michelle Smeby made a motion to Donate $2,500 to Gary Anderson’s project Brian Anderson 2nd and was approved
- #??? Farm Fields North Side of Lake
- Dan is the contact working on this project
- Minnesota Filter project.
- Was supposed to last for 25 years, but is now failing
- Next step is to get funding to be approved
Curly Leaf Pondweed Update: Patrick
- Will vote in the fall to continue the Lake Treatment
Updates since Last Meeting:
- Aeration Update-Chad
- There is a leak that has been there since the beginning
- 2 pumps are down
- Would like to move to rotary main pumps as what we seem to have more maintenance issues with the current pumps
- Do have the potential to move the hoses
- No decisions made
- Ice Out Contest-
- Michelle was the grand prize winner = $3.00
- Progress on a document listing benefit of joining the lake association-Anne
- Printed being folded and will be put into people’s mailbox
- Anne and Jane to assist in distributing
- Signage at Public Access-Anne
- Increasing the Association Dues-Patrick
- Discussion but no motion to increase they remain at $100 for those on the lake and $50 for those off the lake

- Nate to create a Venmo account to assist in collections

- Look at getting a lid (Rick Dehmer)
- He will work with Lake Charlotte residents that started their LID, gather the information and present it back to Lake Martha
- Curt: Went to Wright County Lake meeting
- Only lake in the county where health is declining
- Funding for the aquatic species may be cut in half
- Wake Surfing is one of the county commissioners looking into regulations around that
- Clean your boat on the landing ($150 to put in)
- Water Operator license for anything over 25 hp. Those born after 2004 are susceptible
